GOOGLE MY BUSINESS

Marketing efforts are shifting towards digital. Before, if you didn’t have a phone number or website your business didn’t exist. Now, if you do not have a Google Business listing, filled out correctly, it is a challenge to get found. My advice to you is to have a completely filled out Google My Business listing to reach potential customers that would have to look you up in the prehistoric Yellow Pages.

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING

When I told my friends in 2014 that I had a job in social media marketing, they laughed. They couldn’t comprehend how social media could be used as a resource for business owners. However, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Yelp are the #1 sites for business research. For example, when a couple cannot choose where to go for dinner they visit #fresnofood on Instagram for a new foodie spot. Or when a family puts in a new in-ground pool in their backyard they will scour the Internet for any source of positive experience working with a new contractor.
